NEW SITE, NEW FORMAT, OH MY!!!!
Ok, so after much deep meditation and my 8 balls prediction of the future, I have changed on how the premieres will take place.
Originally, there was going to be a massive show every Saturday showcasing people premieres on the site. The downfall was not everyone releases a bunch of films every week and therefore I have come to the conclusion that the Premiere will occur for each individual film.
Meaning, you will submit your film to TMUTheater, you will get a release date within 4 days after your submission and it will be up to you (the filmmaker) to advertise the films live broadcast date to bring in as many viewers.
The next change is how you submit your film to TMUTheater. The new design has a "Submit Content" page where you fill out a form for your film and uploading a poster. It will then be processed and you will then get a confirmation message containing your live-broadcast date. Then I will get ahold of you on skype and we'll transfer your video file over.
This prevent multiple uploads and I think will be less of a hassle for the filmmaker.
I do recommend that if you plan on having your film broadcast live, that you make a separate, low-res version for best compatibility on the streaming server. One day when I can afford the 360 bucks a month for HD and adless streaming, then we can do HD video quality.
